friday was trinity's talent quest competition. kenny boy performed acoustic version of collide. imran, akil and co. did that thing you do. this guy and girl sang The Prayer, by josh groban and charlotte church, which was ammmmmmmazing. it was opera, and damn ive never seen anyone sing so well live before. and then 1 group sand bon jovi's its my life and i got supppppper hyped up.the way they did it was cool, they started off real slow with the violin and stuff. this girl band perfomed Muse's time is running out. but the winner went to the contortionist. anyways, overall, it was fun!
cam whored a whole lot with junney and kimmmy, which is what im best at(: we all felt which should have joined talent quest for the fun of it. like yo, check us out man. our talent: we cant sing, dance nor scream.
made a supper suppper impromptu decision to go clubbing with june after that. haha. i was prob the most unclubber person cause i wore exactly what i wore to school with my huge bag and stuff. lavish was freakingg freakinggg shit assed packed. no table but non-stop dancing till the club closed rocked. its the best exercise. june was almost gonna die coz her heels were killing her and i love her.
love love love love love to all.
on sat we had a psychology lecture by this well-known guy who specialises in polymer and polygraphs (lie dectector tests). and you know, people fail the polymer test not because they lie, but because they are fearful of the consequences. 3 people went up to do the test. and damn, its really freaking hard to cheat it, cause they check both ur abdomen and normal breathing, heart rate and one more.

SUPERMAN IS DEAD.
----------------------------------------------------------------
to end this on a very meaningful note, friday's hoi lecture was one of the best ive ever had.0jonathan barlow never ceases to amaze me and i actally do really listen.
this part is really controversial, but i somehow believe in it.
P.S. : it might bore you, but i find it super interesting
Friedrich Nietzche (1844-1900) believed that the basis of originality came from instincts, through a process called sublimation: transforming instincts into somthing higher and more noble.
according to him, there is no such thing as morality in nature and that morality must be an invention.
the truth is that our existence is meaningless. we come from nothing. we return to nothing. we are in fact, nothing.
and since humans cannot accept confront this truth about the meaningless of life and their existence, we invented God, philosophy, and moral values to make us feel better. but there is no moral value, no universal system of whats right and wrong, and "God is dead".
Man's nature fundamentally is instincts and will. there are 2 types of will in humans- strong will of the few, and weak will of everyone else.
all humans desire Power. the strong have power. the weak do not have power but want it. however, they are clever and thus start to invent things such as pity, sympathy, sin, guilt, democracy, christianity. all in this consequence to wreck the strong.
the more i think about it, the more sense it makes. how do you think morality ever came about? different philosopher's have their own different views, but i like Nietzche's and somehow believe it.
